I have been using Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Access, and Sharepoint - for my entire adult life.
This isn't by choice, but more so because MS Office was used everywhere I worked.
Word was acting a little glitchy with me a couple of months ago, so I decided to toy around with Apple Pages for a while.
If you haven't used Pages, it's Apple's answer to Word and part of the Apple office suite.
I was a little surprised to discover that I like Pages as much as Word. Maybe more. Sure, they are very similar. But there is something pleasant about using Pages, and the tight integration in the Apple ecosystem is an undeniable benefit for Apple people.
Since then I have tinkered with Numbers and Keynote, and really, they are very smooth.
They offer interoperability features with MS Office, so there really is no reason not to switch.
